FREE Vaccine Clinic - Nov. 23 in Athens

Athens Area Humane Society will be hosting a FREE pet vaccine clinic on November 23, 2024 at their Athens location. They will offer complimentary rabies, distemper vaccinations, microchips (limited supply) for qualified dogs and cats. This event is for residents of Banks, Clarke, Jackson, and Madison counties.

• First Come, First Serve: No appointments or reservations can be made. Most attendees arrive up to two hours early.
• Dogs and Cats Only: Please ensure your pet arrives in the appropriate carrier or on a leash. NO community cats or other stray animals.
• Safety First: Pets considered unsafe for handling may be declined. If your pet is dog/cat aggressive, please consider using a basket muzzle.
• Listed Vaccines Only: Additional medical treatments will not be provided.
• Limitations: THREE pets maximum for vaccination. Pets must also be at least THREE MONTHS OLD to receive the vaccine safely (younger pets will be declined).
• For your comfort and convenience, AAHS recommends bringing water, a chair, and any other essentials as you wait in line.
